The Utah jazz are riding their longest losing streak in two years, and they've had to work hard to make that happen. Following the 6th strait loss, Carlos Boozer correctly pointed out that the Jazz could just as easily won all 6!

It's amazing how much more you learn about a team when you have nothing else to do, as opposed to just hangin' out and watching games as time permits.

BYU-Utah. The Holy War! There is no better weekend of sports in Utah the entire year. I love hearing the Coaches say “It’s just another game” or “they’re next on our schedule”. Then they close practices and warn players about the media! (BYU even asked the media to be careful in their questions) Ya…right just another game. I know it’s not, you know it’s not, the Coaches and players know it’s not. It’s special and always will be.

Several BYU and Utah fans have asked me how much Saturdays controversey with the Utes, will fuel the Cowboys next week against the Cougars? Are you kidding??

OK...so last week I wrote in this blog (see below, edited version) that the Utah Sting Fastpitch Team ventured North to Idaho and beat seven teams on the way to the Boise Blast Championship.

Oh…did I mention I run a youth Fastpitch team?? The Utah Sting? You know, www.utahsting.com? It’s really enjoyable to watch the talent of these kids and it’s fun just to be a part of what has become the “Sting Nation”! But there is a dark side that about makes me sick.

The Blaze ended their inaugural season with a playoff loss in Arizona. That’s not really any sort of a shock.
