Utah's freshman congressman, Jason Chaffetz made his national television debut Tuesday night as Representative Chaffetz on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report.
Mr. Chaffetz and host, Stephen Colbert, chatted about the make-up of Utah’s third district, immigration, and the second amendment during the show’s on-going segment Better Know Your District.
Colbert and Mr. Chaffetz went onto discuss immigration, gun control, and the percentage of Osmonds living in the third district.
“I understand your district contains republican and staunch republicans,” asked Colbert.
“It’s true. We do have some token democrats, but we are a very republican district,” Chaffetz responded.
Colbert and Rep. Chaffetz ended the interview by leg wrestling. In case you're wondering, Colbert won.
