Recommendation: Sir David Attenborough hosts this 6-part series that takes viewers into the heart of Africa’s varied climates and like many of the recent BBC nature documentaries it is a spectacular voyage. The cinematography is gorgeous, the narration sublime and the information is vast and engaging. I planned on watching the series over a week’s worth of days, but found it too captivating to ignore and did it in two sittings. If you enjoyed the BBC’s “Life” or “Planet Earth” you’ll love this as well.
