(KUTV) It's a fairly slow week for DVD and Blu-ray releases featuring the BBC’s 6-part documentary Africa, Sundance favorite and Academy nominated AIDS documentary How to Survive a Plague, Leos Carax’s brilliant and highly experimental film Holy Motors and Paul Thomas Anderson’s critically acclaimed The Master featuring a trio of Academy Award nominated performances from Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams.

Other notable releases include Andy Lau in the excellent Hong Kong drama A Simple Life, Gael Garvia Bernal in The Loneliest Planet, the latest volume from Disney'€™s Phineas and Ferb,€ Billy Burke and Christian Slater in €œFreaky Deaky,€ Sharron Stone in €œBorder Run and Sundance 2012 alum €œMadrid 1987.
