Kids Who Attend Daycare More Likely To Be Overweight
(KUTV) Kids who regularly attend daycare are more likely to be overweight than those who stay at home with their parents according to a new study from Canadian researchers.
The study found kids between the ages of 1 and 4 who stayed with an extended family member or in daycare were more likely to become obese by the age of 10.
That number is compared to children who were cared for at home by the parents.
Researchers have not yet figured out the reason behind the weight difference they have said that diet and exercise need to be closely watched if you have a child in daycare.
