Fans Camp Out for Utah's First Microsoft Store Opening
By Holly Menino
(KUTV) Dozens of people camped out overnight at City Creek Center in anticipation of the Microsoft Store opening its doors on Thursday morning.
Campers started lining up at 3 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon. Many slept on the floor overnight under the center’s retractable roof that was closed due to the rain.
The first 200 customers in line each receive two VIP tickets to see the band Train perform on Saturday. Those premiere tickets include a meet and greet with the band.
General admission tickets will be handed out to additional customers waiting in line.
