Colon Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related deaths in US. Approximately 150,000 American will be diagnosed with colon cancer each year. 50,000 people are expected to die from colon cancer, which is 80% curable when detected early, and most colon cancers can be prevented with appropriate screening; often there are no symptoms.
The recommended age for screening is 50, however, if you have a family history or colon cancer, your first screening should be sooner. Consult with your provider on when you need to be screened. Visit www.UtahColon.com
