Thanksgiving Point Builds New Museum
(KUTV) The Museum of Natural Curiosity is the latest project at Thanksgiving Point and is designed for the kid in all of us. The 45 thousand square foot building will feature four exhibition spaces: Rainforest, Waterworks, Kiddopolis, and a traveling exhibition. Step outside and you'll find five acres with an Archimedes playground where kids can learn about the six principles of engineering.
"It's a family museum, a family science museum, all about science and art and creativity," said President and CEO at Thanksgiving Point Mike Washburn.
Crews broke ground about a year ago on the 28 million dollar project and will open its doors to the public this spring.
