Pay It Forward: Coach Mike Miller
(KUTV) This week’s Pay It Forward is Riverton High School football Coach Mike Miller. He is a man of strength who strives for victory on the grid iron, but his heart softens when it comes to children with special needs.
A few years ago, Coach Miller walked into Kauri Sue Hamilton School to thank a student with a team shirt. Touched by the kids at the school, Miller wanted to make all the kids honorary members of the Riverton Silver Wolves.
Now, every year he brings the whole football team with him and they hand out shirts to every single student and spend a special day. The shirts cost a lot of money, which Coach Miller raises on his own.
