Web Exclusive: Easiest Question Missed
Ken Jennings from Jeopardy talks about the easiest trivia question he's ever missed.
SHAUNA LAKE: What’s the easiest trivia question you’ve ever missed?
KEN JENNINGS: Easiest one? So this was not too hard. I was trying to get back into my hotel in St. Louis on a book tour and the doorman says, I assume he recognizes me because I don’t think he does this to everyone, he says, ‘For me to let you in, I need you to tell me the name of every U.S. Vice-President who seated to the presidency. Go.’ And I was like oh okay. And I rattled them off and I missed one and he’s just waiting and I couldn’t think of it because I had done all the ones whose presidents had died. And he finally let me in anyway. He’s like Gerald Ford man. I had totally forgotten Nixon resigning.
SHAUNA LAKE: He was disappointed.
KEN JENNINGS: I really let that guy down I think.
