Closing Arguements Delivered In Edwards Trial
(KUTV) Defense Attorneys rested their case Wednesday in the John Edwards Corruption trial.
The closing arguments are set to begin Thursday – just two days after the trial began.
The jury is expected to get the case for deliberation by Friday.
Edwards did not take the stand, nor did his former mistress, Rielle Hunter or his eldest daughter Cate.
The former US Senator is charged with 6 counts of illegal campaign contributions, conspiracy and falsifying documents.
If found guilty on all charges, Edwards could face up to 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine.
