New Poll Shows Obama, Romney Tied
(KUTV) A new poll suggests Americans are split between President Barack Obama and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
A Washington Post and ABC poll shows the two candidates are statistically tied, with 49% backing Obama and 46% supporting Romney.
When it comes to which candidate poll takers think would handle the economy better, it's another tie at 47%for both Romney and Obama.
The poll also showed women tend to favor Obama over Romney 51%to 41% and that the number one issue for voters is the economy.
Seven percent of those polled say health care is their priority, while 5% say morals and family values are most important to them.
