Romney To Embark On 6 State Campaign Tour
(KUTV) Mitt Romney has announced a 6-state bus tour where he plans to highlight problems with the economy and portray President Obama as out of touch.
Obama continues to point the finger at Republican lawmakers for not acting on his jobs legislation. The president’s campaign is now on the defensive.
Republicans are focusing on Obama’s comment “The private sector is doing fine.”
He said he was comparing the private sector and public job growth.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the private sector has added 2-million jobs in the past year while state and local governments have cut more than 160,000 jobs.
Mitt Romney has a new web ad using the President’s comment to portray him as out of touch.
Romney will visit 6 battleground states later this week.
He will make occasional stops in smaller towns and have meetings with business owners that are hurting from the recession.
