Pistorius Brother Accused Of Culpable Homicide
(KUTV) Olympian Oscar Pistorius isn't the only one in his family accused of killing someone. Oscar's older brother, Carl Pistorius is being accused of culpable homicide in the 2010 death of a female motorcyclist.
Prosecutors say Pistorius was driving recklessly when he was involved in a deadly accident. Pistorius' attorney disputes the allegations, claiming the woman rode the motorcycle into his clients vehicle.
Carl's trial has been scheduled for the end of March, meaning his trial could be completed before Oscar's is scheduled trial in June. Oscar Pistorius, the double-amputee sprinter, known as the "Blade Runner" is accused of killing his girlfriend and model, Reeva Steenkamp.
On Friday, Oscar was granted bail and released from jail.
