Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Ginger
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
2 cups Sugar
1 Cup Butter softened
1 lb canned pumpkin
1/4 cup light molasses
1/3 cup water
1.) Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and all the spices into a separate bowl and set aside.
2.) Cream together butter and sugar in a mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs to butter and sugar and beat well.
3.) Add water and molasses. Slowly add the flour mixture alternating with the pumpkin. Mix till just combined. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
4.) Prepare muffin tins and scoop batter into pans. Bake 350 for 15-18 minutes or until center comes out clean.
Spiced Orange Cream Cheese Frosting
1 cup Butter, softened
16 oz Cream Cheese, softened
8 cups powdered sugar
2 TBS milk
2 TBS Orange Zest
1 TBS Orange Juice (from orange or orange extract)
1 TBS Pumpkin Pie Spice
1.) Cream together butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Slowly add powdered sugar.
2.) Add Orange Juice, Orange zest and pumpkin pie spice and continue mixing.
3.) Add milk to get desired consistency. Frost on cooled cupcakes and serve.
