Baked Brie With Pecan Pear Chutney

1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
3 ANJOU PEARS PEALED AND DICED
1 TSP HONEY
1 TSP VANILLA
C RED WINE VINEGAR
C MANGO PUREE
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
1 PIENCE/WHEEL BRIE CHEESE
PUFF PASTRY DOUGH SHEETS
1 EGG BEATEN WITH 1 TSP WATER
Melt butter in a medium saut pan. Add pears and heat on low until caramelized. Add pecans, vanilla, honey, red wine vinegar and mango puree, salt & pepper. Simmer until the consistency of jam or jelly. Cool to room temperature.
Cut a sheet of puff pastry big enough to wrap around the size of your brie piece/wheel. Lightly dough roll dough with rolling pin. Place the cheese in the center of the dough. Apply Chutney on top of cheese and pinch ends. Using your favorite cookie cutter, cut a shape of dough for the top of the brie. Brush dough with egg wash.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until cheese is soft but not melted. Serve with crackers, sliced baguette, etc.
