1 stick butter
3 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
8-10 Oreo cookie shells, crushed
Preheat the oven to 190°C (Gas Mark 5 / 375°F). Line a baking tray with baking paper, and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese. Add the sugar and vanilla, followed by the flour and chocolate chips.
Remove the cream centers from the Oreo cookies, and crush the biscuit in a small bowl. Form the cookie dough into 1 inch balls, and roll in the crushed Oreos. Place the balls on the lined baking tray, leaving at least 2 inches between them (you may need to cook them in several batches).
Bake for 15 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are just beginning to turn golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking tray before transferring to a cooling rack.
