Salmon Burger with Avocado Sauce

1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, undrained and flaked
1/4 cup chopped green onion, including the green parts
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp fresh chopped dill weed, or 1 teaspoon dried
1/4 cup minced green bell pepper
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Avocado Sauce Ingredients:
1 whole Hass avocado, halved, seeded and peeled
1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt
1 roma tomato, chopped
1 shallot, chopped
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
salt and pepper to taste
Red Onion, sliced
Whole wheat buns
1.) For the salmon burgers, combine everything into a large bowl and mix together.
2.) Shape into patties and pan fry with a little olive oil for about two minutes on each side or until cooked through. You can grill or bake the salmon patties if desired.
3.) To make the avocado sauce, simply combine avocado sauce into the bowl of your food processor and blend until smooth. Use the avocado sauce in place of mayonnaise.
4.) Build your salmon burgers like you would your favorite hamburger. Enjoy!
