(KUTV) Because of BYU's loss to Gonzaga in the West Coast Conference Tournament, the Cougars will be scoreboard watching this week, as they are now officially on the bubble.

Gonzaga coach Mark Few said beating BYU was great win for his Bulldogs. "They're a Very, very, very good basketball team tonight, an NCAA Tournament team," Few said after his Gonzaga team blew BYU off the court 77-58 Saturday night.

BYU had trouble with Gonzaga's speed and athleticism, which is something the players are concerned about. "Everyone wants to compete," BYU forward Charles Abouo said.Everyone wants to comeback, we have some guys with some fight in them."

Still the 20-win Cougars are by no means assured of getting an invitation to the NCAA Tournament, especially based on quality wins. One could argue that BYU's win over Gonzaga at Marriott Center is the team's only significant victory.

BYU coach Dave sees it a different way. "This team deserves to be in the NCAA Tournament, yeah."
