Washington State On Coming To Provo
(KUTV) We all know Washington State invades Provo this Thursday night to open the 2012 college football season, but what we might not know is how important this game is WSU head coach Mike Leach, who by the way-- is a BYU graduate.
"We'll it's a better storyline than it really is a reality," Leach said. Once you ride into town with the Y on the hill, and say: Yeah we use to live here or there...Ah once you get out of the field you've got too much going on to do the memory lane thing."
Leach says he gets into game mode and won't get sentimental---no, in fact he plans on being very aggressive, especially with his play-calling.
"[Were] not putting too much on it, Coach Leach hasn't either," said Washington State quarterback Jeff Tuel. "It's just another ball game we need to got out there win."
The game should reveal if Bronco Mendenhall's defense is as good as some people think or if Leach still remains one of the great offensive minds in college football. And don't forget, we'll have highlights and post game reaction from Provo on Talkin' Sports.
