Friday Rivals: Syracuse Defeats Northridge 45-27
(KUTV) Our Friday night rivals game on KMYU featured Northridge at Syracuse; the Titans are a top 5 team in class 5a and are 3-1 on the season.

Northridge on the other hand has struggled, but the Knights did win their last game and as we all know anything can happen in a rivalry game.

Syracuse looking for their first region win.

It started great for the Titans, Northridge fumbles the opening kick-off and the Titans score on 1-yard run to make it 7-zip.

Then Trevor Olsen takes it in for a 15 yard touchdown, its 14-0 Titans.

On the ensuing kickoff Daylan Lake fumbles the kick, picks it up and goes up the sidelines, nearly untouched Lake returns it 92 yards for the touchdown, extra-point was no good, 14-6 Titans.

Second quarter, a bad snap, it's a loose ball in the end zone and Syracuse’s Caden Call pounces on it for a titans touchdown 24-6.

Late in the quarter, Kole Tracy hit Kavika Fonua and he turns on the jets, this turns into an 80-yard touchdown.

Northridge rallied late, Nate Kusada hits Daylan Lake and he outruns the defense, its 31 -20 Syracuse and they win it 45-27.
