(KUTV) Every week during halftime of a KYMU high school football game a
student athlete will be honored as the scholar athlete of the week.
All
of the athletes represented at halftime are great examples of how hard
work on the playing field and dedication in the classroom can payoff.
This
week's winners are Carley Herrick of Fremont High School and Jayden Bearnson of Syracuse High School. has a 4.0 G.P.A. She runs cross country in the fall and track in the spring.
Carley plays tennis for the Silverwolves and has achieved a 3.966 G.P.A.
and Jayden is on the Titans' baseball team with a 4.0 G.P.A
Both athletes are now eligible to win a $5,000 scholarship sponsored by Cyprus Credit Union
