Utah State Makes History With 10 Win Season
(KUTV) Utah State hasn't won an outright conference title since 1936 and the Aggies have never had a 10-win season. Until now. They reached both goals with Saturday's convincing 45-9 win over Idaho.
It wasn't the the most efficient win of the season, but Utah Sate was able to get it done against one of the worst teams in the conference. The Aggies built a 21-3 halftime lead and cruised to a 36-point victory.
Aggies' running back Kerwin Williams carried the ball 17 times for 110 yards and a touchdown. Chuckie Keeton threw for a mere 133 yards and was intercepted twice by the Vandals.
Still, the Aggies played good enough to win convincingly, as they finished the season 6-0 in conference play. Now Utah State will have time to think about its next opponent because it has officially accepted bid to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
