Ty Detmer Inducted Into College Football Hall Of Fame
(KUTV) Former BYU and NFL quarterback Ty Detmer left a legacy of his playing days in Provo, which includes a Heisman Trophy! Now, Ty can add Hall of Fame to the trophy case.
Detmer was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame Tuesday in New York.
He won the Heisman his junior year at BYU on his way to setting 59 NCAA records--nine of which still stand today.
Detmer, who is now a high school coach in Texas, went to play 14 years in the NFL, but college is where he made his mark.
