Sports Minute: Jazz Hold-off Wizards For 92-88 Victory
(KUTV) The Utah Jazz nearly blew a 22-point lead  but got a timely jumper from Paul Millsap to hold off the Wizards 92-88 Wednesday night at Energy Solutions Arena.

Millsap not only made the biggest shot of the night, he led the Jazz in scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Washington outscored the Jazz 30-19 in the fourth quarter to cut the Jazz's lead to 90-87, but Randy Foye converted a pair of free-throws with 11 seconds remaining to give the Jazz their fourth straight win.

Utah got a big effort from their bench as well. Gordon Hayward scored 15 points and had 4 assists to lead the Utah reserves. Hayward brought to the house down when he went behind the back off the dribble drive, converting a three-point play, giving the Jazz 47-25 lead with 6 minutes to play in the second quarter.

Second-year player Enes Kanter also had a strong effort, scoring 10 points and grabbing three rebounds. The Jazz built 22-point second quarter lead and then had to hang on as the Wizards rallied in the fourth. Washington used  a 14-2 run trim the Jazz lead to 75-72.

Then Bradley Beal's dunk with 1:10 to play cut the Jazz's lead to 88-84. But In the end, it was the veteran Millsap who converted the biggest shot of the game. His baseline jumper gave Utah a six-point lead with 21 seconds remaining and sealed the win for the Jazz.
