Jazz Beat Pacers 114-110 In OT
(KUTV) The Pacers are having a good January, they're 8-4. The Utah Jazz are 8-3 and also having a good month. Both teams would have better records but they've both struggled on the second night of back to backs.
Saturday night the Jazz are playing back to back, the Pacers have had two days off. Former Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was in the house and he watched the Jazz jump out to 27-24 first quarter lead. Midway through the second quarter Indiana took a 33-31 lead off a David West jumper.
But the Jazz battled back to take 45-39 lead after an Al Jefferson jumper. The Jazz take command in the third period when Earl Watson finds Derrick Favors for the slam and the Jazz lead 69-59.
The Jazz go up 97-89 after an Al Jefferson turnaround, but down the stretch the Pacers force turnovers and cut the Jazz to two, then tie the game at 98 on a pair of Paul George free throws.
In overtime the Jazz score the first six points and beat the Pacers 114-110. Al Jefferson led the Jazz with 25 points and Paul Millsap chipped in with 21. For the Pacers Paul George had 24 points and David West scored 23.
The Jazz have won five of their last six games and will host the Houston Rockets Monday night.
