(KUTV) It's the pre-season opener for the Jazz, which back in the day didn't mean much, but when you're replacing half the team, exhibition games mean more than ever.

Early on, Richard Jefferson gets the pass from Gordon Hayward on the break for the score.

The rook, Trey Burke, creating his shots! The Jazz got 12 points from the Michigan kid.

Later in the game, Alec Burkes keeps the loose ball alive; Lucas there to hit the jumper and he led all scorers with 16.

Burks started getting active; this could be a big year for Alec as well, he had 14 points.

Later in the game Derrick Favors with the reverse layup, it's only pre-season, but some good things out of the Jazz.

In the end the Jazz got the win 101-78.
