Utes' Fitzgerald Emerging As Senior WR
(KUTV) Utes senior wide receiver Sean Fitzgerald has been patient and finally, his time has come. Fitzgerald played his high school ball in Orange County and had to pick between Utah and BYU. He chose Utah, before they went to the Sugar Bowl.
During the undefeated 2008 season he was on an LDS church mission in Miami. He came back, redshirted and played sparingly for the Utes. He said the thought of transferring crossed his mind, but he liked the guys and the team to much to seriously consider switching schools.
He had two big catches as the Utes rallied to beat the Aggies and he scored two first half touchdowns in the win over Weber State. Watch his interview on Talkin’ Sports here.
