(KUTV) KFAN radio host Spence Checketts joined David James on Talkin' Sports Thursday night.

The often out-spoken Checketts made some interesting points in his lengthy segment.

Contrary to most, Checketts believes the Jazz would be better by missing the playoffs and cashing on potential lottery picks.

He also believes that second -year forward Derrick Favors has a better upside than the productive Al Jefferson.

They also weigh in on the Jazz's future, as the team will have plenty of  cap-space to perhaps, bring in the right free-agents for this team.
