Football Panel Predicts Aggies Will Prevail
(KUTV) It's being touted as the biggest game in Utah State football history. Even bigger than the Aggies win over BYU a couple of seasons ago.
But this game at Louisiana Tech on Saturday at 2 p.m. has some real meaning, for starters the WAC title will be on the line. Then there's Coach Gary Andersen, who in recent seasons has taken USU to a bowl game and can keep the program on track for another one with a win on Saturday.
Our football panel says this is an opportunity the Aggies won't miss out on. They say Utah State is too good on defense and can match Louisiana Tech point-for-point on offense.
The Utes on the other hand will host Arizona in the last home game of the season. Kyle Whittingham will have to find a way to slow down Arizona's spread offense and hope running back John White can keep running hard against the 90th ranked rush defense in the country.
It's senior night at Rice-Eccles Stadium and the Utes have to win to stay bowl eligible.
