Utah weather for the afternoon of July 29, 2014: A slow-moving storm system will impact the entire state today. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected through the evening hours with more widespread rainfall over northern Utah. Heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds are possible in the strongest storms. Flash flooding will also be possible over the high country. A few lingering showers are possible tonight. Far northeastern Utah will see another round of t-storms Wednesday.

Forecast for the Wasatch Front:
This afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs in the upper 70s.
This evening: Cloudy. Scattered showers. Temps in the 70s.
